GRADE 10 OVERVIEW
To ensure that you are selecting the courses that will get you into the post-secondary program of your choice please research the course requirements for the program you are considering. We will do our best to ensure that you meet the graduation requirements but it is your responsibility to make sure you are prepared for the post-secondary program of your choice.

REQUIRED COURSES
The required courses for grade 10 are:
- Composition 10 (MCMPS10) (2 credits) AND Creative Writing 10 (MCTWR10) (2 credits)
- One Mathematics 10 of your choice:
- Workplace Mathematics 10 (MWPM-10)
- Foundations of Mathematics and Pre-Calculus 10 (MFMP-10)
- Science 10 (MSC--10)
- Social Studies 10 (MSS--10)
- Physical and Health Education 10 (MPHED-10)
- Career Life Education 10 (MCLEA10) (4 credits)
ELECTIVES
Grade 10 students must select three more courses from the following. One of them must be an Applied Design Skills Technology (ADST) or fine art. Each course listed below may not be offered each school year.
